About the Role

As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating various activities to ensure successful completion of tasks performed by your team. You will also be responsible for creating and implementing strategies to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the team. You will need to be able to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and demonstrate excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Requirements

Required Skills and Experience:

  • BA/BS degree from an accredited college/university in Accounting, IT, Business, Finance, or a related field.

  • At least 8 years of experience managing financial statement audits, OMB A-123, including leading projects or serving as a Subject Matter Expert such as internal control assessment, business process design or re-design SME, (OMB A-123) and IT General and Application Control reviews.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent leadership, teamwork and client service skills.

  • Proficient project management skills.

  • CPA or CISA, required.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.

  • Minimum of 8 years’ of federal accounting experience performing ANY of the following: full life-cycle financial statement audits within the Federal Sector and OR, experience implementation of OMB A-123, FISMA/FISCAM reviews of financial, mixed, non-financial systems and OR, Experience implementation of audit readiness within the Federal Sector.

  • Specialized experience, minimum of 3 – 4 years Federal Audit and or Audit Readiness experience.

  • Demonstrated experience preparing cycle memos and IT process narratives, identification and testing of IT general and application controls, development of corrective action plans and remediation strategies.

  • Serves as a subject matter expert in Federal Financial Statements audits, internal controls, audit readiness, corrective action planning and remediation of audit findings.
