About the Role

As a Senior IT Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all IT-related activities to ensure successful completion of tasks. You will need to quickly become familiar with the project from a high level, while still understanding overarching processes to allow you to create and implement strategies to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the team. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients through excellent problem-solving and communication skills is a must.

Requirements

Required Skills and Experience

  • BA/BS degree from an accredited college/university in Accounting, IT, Business, Finance, or a related field

  • At least 6 years of experience managing IT-related projects, including leading projects such as Certification and Accreditation (NIST C&A or DIACAP) and IT General and Application Control reviews

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent leadership, teamwork and client service skills

  • Proficient project management skills

  • CPA, CISA, or CISSP required

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident


Job Responsibilities of a Senior IT Manager:

  • Use technical, industry and IT knowledge to execute FISMA/FISCAM reviews of financial, mixed and non-financial systems

  • Financial, Performance and Compliance Audit Services, including Audit Readiness

  • Manage and provide leadership to teams of staff level professionals and become actively involved in staff development and practice management

  • Assist in preparation of IT process narratives, identification and testing of IT general and application controls, development of corrective action plans and remediation strategies

  • Perform quality control reviews of all client deliverables and provide feedback and coaching to staff as needed

  • Provide accurate and timely information to client on a continuous basis; maintain strong and trusting relationship with clients

  • Prepare weekly status reports regarding engagement progress for internal management meetings

  • Demonstrate excellent project management skills, inspire teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members, and use current technology/tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services
