About the Role
The Junior Information Technology (IT) Specialist is an entry level position. The Jr. IT Specialist will assist in functional and IT analysis, design, development, integration, documentation, and implementation assistance on problems which require a thorough knowledge of the related technical subject matter for effective system deployment. This person will also assist in all phases of systems development and applies principals and methods of the functional area to difficult problems in technical areas to arrive at automated solutions. The specialist may also design and prepare technical reports and related documentation, and makes charts and graphs to record results. We are looking for a person who will be able to perform with limited supervision and is able to prepare/deliver presentations and briefings as required by the task order. He or she must be a team player.
Requirements
Required Skills and Experience
BA/BS degree from an accredited college/university in Accounting, IT, Business, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of one-year relevant experience in Federal Financial Management and Information Technology
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent leadership, teamwork and client service skills
Proficient project management skills
Ability to obtain a government security clearance
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
